I bought the car on 12/27/2006. This is a picture of it shorty after I got it, and shortly before I started tearing it apart.
Bought a 7.0 liter block and Z06 quarters.
This is our prototype adapter to mount a C6 differential to a 4L60E. I was running a C6 differential, but now have a C6 Z06 differential in it with a hardened 30 spline output shaft.
I polished my Callies crankshaft and Manley rods and had Lingenfelter Performance Engineering build my 427. L92 heads, intake, RoadRebel cam, Mahle pistons, 8.5 cr, LS7 coils, etc., etc.
Here are some pictures of the engine going back into the car with the TTiX manifolds and the twin turbos installed. Being one of the first TTiX kits, there were a few things needing addressed as the installation progressed.
Just finishing the install. The fit was very nice. The intercooler fits great.
A few more pictures of the install and a top view of the intercooler. These pictures are before I installed the Alkycontrol injection.
Some pictures from our track rental day. Had a best time of 10.88 @ 132 mph. Not too bad for the first time at the track. Need to get it on a dyno now and see what it will do.
Broke an axle at the track, but installed C5 axles, and was back on the road in no time.
Rodney's 2007 C6 Z06 N/A build.
Todd's 2005 C6 twin turbo 427 build.
I used the C5 axles for a while, but decided to upgrade to the Driveshaft Shop axles. That way, I won't ever have to worry about breaking an axle again.
